What is COVID-19?
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Most people infected with the virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment. However, some will become seriously ill and require medical attention. Older people and those with underlying medical conditions are more likely to develop serious illness.

What are the symptoms of COVID-19?
Fever
Feeling hot to the touch on your chest and back.
Tiredness
Feeling constantly tired and fatigued even after resting.
Dry Cough
Coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours.

Shortness of Breath
Difficuty breathing or shortness of breath.
Aches and Pains
Feeling aching and pain all over your body even when resting.
Sore Throat
Soreness of the throat.

It is important to take precautions in this pandemic to ensure that we can protect ourselves and others.
Stay at Home
If you develop symptoms or test positive for COVID-19, stay at home ans self-isolate until you recover.
Clean & Disinfectant
Ensure to keep good personal hygiene and disinfect any shared spaces when possible.
Cover Cough & Sneezes
Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing with a tissue which you can then dispose of.
Wear Facemask
Wear a properly fitted mask when physical distancing is not possible or when in poorly ventilated settings.

How does COVID-19 Spread?
The virus can spread from an infected person’s mouth or nose in small liquid particles when they cough, sneeze, speak, sing or breathe. These particles range from larger respiratory droplets to smaller aerosols.
It is important to practice respiratory etiquette, for example by coughing into a flexed elbow, and to stay home and self-isolate until you recover if you feel unwell.
